This role covers Census, Survey, Ember Reports, Polling, and Elections data gathering and support.
This Ignition position handles all things related to data collection; including but not limited to elections, polls, Ember reports, and other info from Ignition and attendees of Apogaea.
Over the course of the Apogaea year you will be responsible for running the following:
Theme & Ticket Art submission contests for the upcoming event year. This involves collecting the theme submissions and running the online contest within Ignition to determine the theme and ticket art for Apogaea.
Creating the Census form to be filled out by participants after Apogaea. After the census period is over providing the data and an easy to read report of the data your board liaison to have the information distributed out to Ignition and the community.
Creating the Ember Report form for all of Ignition to fill out post-event after Apogaea. Then after the submission period is over submitting the data and an easy to read view of the data to your board liaison to be shared with all of Ignition.
Running the elections for the incoming board members at the end of the current event cycle.
A good candidate for this role should have the following skills
Familiarity with Google Docs
Ability to create complex multi-page Google Doc Forms and then modify the data and results collectedÂ
Creating Google Docs Reports
Basic HTML knowledge and ability
Photoshop / Gimp photo manipulation experience
Ability to convert a 200+ row 20 column XLS spreadsheet into a human readable document
This role works with the ICC (Internal Communication & Collaboration), IT, External Communications, Mission Control, and other departments to get and disseminate information.
