2013 Recommendations:
Continue with online sales through Brown Paper Tickets
Will call only
2 general sales times with different ticket amounts (60% 40%) at different times of day and different days of the week
No gate sales
Offer donation options during ticket checkout (a new option on BPT)
Offer additional options or tickets during ticket checkout for in and out access, or parking options if applicable
2012 Setup:
All ticket sales online through Brown Paper Tickets
Originally tickets were mailed in paper and a name list was kept for gate access, this transitioned to a true will call list that was easier to manage
Financial processing through BPT - which pays after the event, and google merchant processing, that pays directly to the Apo bank account via electronic transfer 10 days after ticket sale
Complete tracking of every ticket sold is possible, although name tracking per ticket was somewhat difficult if printed tickets changed hands
General tickets sold out in 2 hours through online sales
Upon entry into the event the art ticket is exchanged or given to the participant
2011 Setup
Brown Paper Tickets used for online ticket sales and art tickets were used at physical locations for in person sales. Tracking of tickets sold was somewhat difficult and there was an error range of actual sales. Ticket sales sold out a couple of weeks before the event.

All art ticket sales were used and there were ticket sales at the gate.
