Volunteer Appreciation Lead

Role Overview

Find ways to encourage volunteerism through appreciation.  Manage the execution of appreciations. May include but not limited to:

• • Schwag

  • Parties

  • Public Acknowledgement

Ideally, you will also

• • Help us inspect and adapt after the event, letting us know what worked and how we could appreciate volunteers

  • Find new ways to minimize volunteer turnover or shortage of volunteers

Responsibilities Pre-Apo

• • Find new schwag. Create budget for schwag. Decide who gets schwag.

  • Improve and manage system for distributing schwag (how do you know who fulfilled their shifts?). Educate Leads on the system

  • Organize Volunteer Appreciation parties.

  • Think of other great ways to acknowledge our Awesome Volunteers

Responsibilities at Apo

• • Solicit feedback on appreciation

  • Troubleshoot schwag distribution
